A Message From Our Chairman

Hello and welcome to the Monroe County Democrat Party website. We Democrats here in Monroe County, are very proud of our long tradition of being a predominantly Democratic county electing highly qualified Democrats to local, state, and national offices.

We strongly believe in a government that values opportunity and equality for all of its citizens, that the best government is one that is based on people, ideas, and values. Democrats have consistently fought for issues that matter to working families - Social Security, real health care reform, strong public schools, clean air, clean water and a strong economy for all citizens. Monroe County Democrats, now, more than ever, believe that we must continue to stay committed to these important issues facing our families. We believe that remembering and providing for our veterans is a top priority. Let us never forget the great service they have preformed for our country.
